I have been searching for a recipe that is both healthy and tasty and this one gets 5+ stars. Not dry like many whole wheat recipes I've tried. In addition, the scones are beautiful pieces of art.
I doubled the recipe and baked for 25 minutes. I substituted dried currants (soaked in orange juice) and crystalized ginger for the blueberries (since I had none). My next batch will be blueberry. Absolutely delicious and great for a pre-run or during cycling snack.
