The combination of peanut butter and chocolate calls to me and I can’t deny it! It is a match made in heaven, the bitterness of the chocolate paired with the creamy peanut butter, watch out!
These bars are easy and quick to throw together and boy do they satisfy the peanut butter and chocolate cravings. They are flourless and therefore gluten-free, another great bonus! The ingredients are so simple, you probably have it all in our cupboard right now, so what are you waiting for? Get up and make these, you won’t be sorry!
If the temptation of having them sitting on the counter once they are baked is too much for you to handle throw some in the freezer, they store wonderfully that way!

Peanut Butter, Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Preheat the oven to 350 and line a 9×13 inch pan with greased parchment paper.
Using a mixer combine the peanut butter and sugar, beat for 2 minutes or until well combined. Add the eggs, baking soda, and vanilla, mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and oatmeal. Dump the dough into the pan and spread it out evenly across the pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden around the edges. Allow to cool before slicing. Store sliced bars in an airtight container on the counter or in the freezer.
Too yummy for words. I love peanut butter and chocolate. This recipe really hits the spot, just wish it could be made with less sugar. Ate some and saved some for an upcoming mountain bike race. They freeze extremely well.
I’m glad you enjoyed these, they are too dangerous for me to keep in the house very long. I have NO self control when it comes to these bars…it’s bad!
