I love that my oldest child is already falling in love with creating and cooking in the kitchen! I must admit, I am not always good at including him in the kitchen, I think it’s because it is my space, my time, my place, but I need to move over because a new chef is in town! Zac is making scrambled eggs and he couldn’t be more excited and proud of himself.
Zac loves my food blog because he says, “mom it is cool that you’re helping other people cook good.” So it is only fitting that my first guest post be from one of my biggest fans! So without further ado, here are scrambled eggs with Zac!
Zac’s Scrambled Eggs
- butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbs. half and half
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated cheese
Break the eggs into a large bowl (for ample mixing room) and add half and half, salt, and pepper.
Mix the eggs well.
Place butter in a small frying pan and preheat to medium. Pour eggs into the pan.
Using a silicon rubber scraper stir the eggs, making sure they don’t burn!
When the eggs are still slightly wet looking remove from heat and stir in cheese. Enjoy with freshly toasted bread!
Feed the eggs to your sisters, brother, and parents!
